Empowering women from marginalised, low-income communities to respond against violence and work together in solidarity is something core to us. Through capacity-building programs, we aim to change mindsets from ‘target of circumstance’ to ‘change-maker’. We strive hard to improve the level of the employment field for women by providing bold livelihood options accessible to them. To achieve this, our various Women Empowerment programs empower women with minimal economic and social capital to be professional drivers. We help qualified and smart women in securing employment opportunities.
By assisting women to acquire means of livelihood with dignity, we develop a cadre of empowered women to take ownership. To build a supportive environment for women to take on livelihoods and live with pride and respect, we also engage with men and women in their communities through arranging various community programmes. Through our work we contribute toward creating economic and social equality for women in India.
At Laavanya Redamancy Foundation, we strongly believe that a healthy mind lives in a healthy body. Through various programs, our team along with our mentor- Ms. Heena Sehrawat discuss various women’s health-related problems openly with them like mensuration, pregnancy-related complications, domestic violence, and other concerns. We empower women by giving them proper knowledge and assistance as and when needed.
